Relationship With Community

The Building Hope Society is uniquely engaged with the Maasai Community and with the Ewaso Ngiro community through the excellent relationship maintained with David Ole Nkuito and Merry Purcell Nkuito.

One of the mandates of the Building Hope Society is to approach this relationship from a place of trying to understand what the needs of the Maasai Community and the Ewaso Ngiro school community are from the perspective of those communities.
In this way, it is hoped that both communities will feel like equal stakeholders, each with an important role to play.
The role of the communities in Kenya is to define their desired direction of growth and to work hard toward that through the use of the resources of the Building Hope Society along with their own resources.
