Relationship with Students

The entire Building Hope Project centers around students and their needs. The project is based upon the ideal that education is an agent of change in the world and that every child in the world deserves a solid education, regardless of their ethnicity, sex, financial situation or religion.
The Building Hope Society works hard to keep the students' needs in the foreground at all times. The purpose of the organization is to create a world where all students have access to quality education.
The students at Ewaso Ngiro School and at Building Hope Academy have had their lives changed by the relationship that they hold with students in Canada.
Students at Red Deer Lake School (present and alumni) share letters with the students at Enkare Ngiro School, at Building Hope Academy and with sponsored high school students. They encourage each other in these letters to pursue an education and to find the commonalities with each other, as well as to learn the distinct differences between the two cultures.
These groups of students are the true stakeholders in this project. The students in Kenya are bolstered in their lives and their studies by the support they feel coming from the Canadian sponsors and students. Likewise the Canadian students are empowered as they see the impact that this project has on the world.
