When you purchase this book, it will be donated to one of the Building Hope classrooms in Kenya. It is our hope that every student in both of our schools will receive a copy. For most of these children it will be the first book they have ever owned.
The concept for this beautifully illustrated Children's book was developed by the Building Hope Society Alumni group. This group of students were instrumental in the creation of this organization. The book introduces the characters, Murani the Moose and Dani the Ndongu (elephant), who discover that they have many more similarities than differences. This reflects the ideals of the Building Hope Society: To teach Canadian children that they have the power to change the world, and to teach Kenyan children that through a solid education, good friendships and support they too have the power to change the world.
